Join EPIC youth June 26-29 in helping the residents of Washington, Illinois as they recover from the tornado that devastated their community on November 17th last year.
Mission trips are more than the work we accomplish they give hope, develop faith & bond us together.
This trip is open to everyone with a heart for service. We expect to helping to clean up debris left by the tornado, assisting in the distribution center and other needed work. You don’t need to be skilled in construction just willing to help out. Children under 12, not involved in EPIC may attend and work with their parents on approval by our host.
We will be working with Bethany Community Church who will provide lodging in their building, lunch and organize our work crews for us. Lodging at BCC’s facility will have showers and restrooms with separate rooms for men and women. We recommend bringing a cot or inflatable mattress and bedding. We will provide breakfast and dinner at BCC along with an evening worship time.
If you prefer to stay in a local hotel or camper please let us know and we can help make arraignments. We hope you will join us for our dinner and worship time.
We will be working in crews of 8-12 organized by BCC on Friday and Saturday. If you wish to work on Sunday we will need to coordinate work with another agency so we need to know when you sign up.
Sign up and payment due by May 20th Space at BCC is limited to about 25
