Make a Difference Day Fall 2015

It’s time for our fall Make a Difference day – a community work day to help those in our town who have trouble working on their own homes. This year’s date is Saturday, October 24.
Make a Difference involves people from a number of churches. Anyone in the community needing work done – things like raking leaves, winterizing, building steps, painting, you name it – we do it! Teams consist of 4 to 10 people, potentially from different churches and work for about 3 hours at someone’s home. Most materials are provided (except gloves, rakes, and some tools). Requirements: sign up and show up. (Forms available in church office and coming soon online)
We are looking for volunteers of all ages, and this is a great family activity. Join us and help spread God’s love to our neighbors.
Contact Bev Byram-Howe in the office (319-626-6762) to sign-up or to sign-up someone in need help.
