Here’s what is happening within our UMC Circuit currently:

West Branch UMC has Summer Game Nights the second Sundays of June, July and August from 6-8pm. Bring a snack and a game. Get to know each other. Sounds like so much fun.

A reminder that Annual Conference starts with Laity Session Friday evening June 2 and ends Sunday afternoon June 4. Please keep all delegates and clergy in your prayers.


Iowa City First has a Social Justice Team. The areas of concern are: Racism, LGBTQ+Full Inclusion, Poverty, Palestine-Israeli Conflict, Environment and Climate Change, and Domestic Violence. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Pastor Heecheon Jeon at

First UMC in North Liberty has a mission named Shifting Gears. Members of this team repair donated bikes to be given to those in need of transportation to and from work or school. If you are interested in donating a bike or helping with repairs, please contact
